Set up your programming portfolio
Create one private GitHub repository for all completed Programming Companion challenges. The generated README records the programming language currently selected for the site.
Before you begin: Git and the GitHub CLI (
gh) must already be installed. You only need to run the full setup command once.Portfolio options

This teacher will be invited as a read-only collaborator. Leave it blank if your teacher does not need access yet.
Use only letters, numbers and hyphens, with no hyphen at the beginning or end.
One-time setup command
Creates the local folder, private GitHub repository and initial portfolio files.
Update teacher access later
Use this shorter command if the teacher username changes after the portfolio has been created.
